Building or Enhancing Your Mental Health Program Strengthening Campus Mental Health: From Vision to Practice with Bert Epstein, PsyD

Thursday, September 24, 2026

2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

1.5-hour Webinar: Watch Recording | Toolkit PDF

Overview

Join Bert Epstein, PsyD, a longtime college mental health leader, for an open and practical conversation about what it takes to build and sustain a strong campus mental health program.

Drawing from more than 30 years in college counseling and the soon-to-be-released Strengthening Campus Mental Health: From Vision to Practice toolkit, Bert will share lessons from the field while creating space for participants to discuss their own experiences, questions, successes, and challenges.

Together, we’ll explore the realities of the work from building campus relationships and designing services to navigating resources, staffing, and the many decisions that come with leading a mental health program. Whether you’re building something new or strengthening an established program, come ready to learn, share, and connect with colleagues doing this work across California Community Colleges.

Whether your college is building something new or refining an established program, you’ll leave with ideas and considerations you can take back to your campus.
