Who We Are
CCC Health & Wellness is a statewide initiative of the California Community Colleges (CCC) dedicated to supporting the mental health, wellness, and basic needs of students across all 116 community colleges. Grounded in the Chancellor’s Office Vision 2030, particularly Goal 3: Equity in Support, the program is committed to ensuring every student has access to the academic, financial, and social supports necessary to thrive.

The Chancellor’s Office serves as a connector between the legislature, which allocates funding, and the colleges, which implement campus-level services. Our role includes ensuring alignment with program goals and supporting colleges in identifying, implementing, and sustaining effective, student-centered practices.

This work is led by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office in partnership with the Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS), which serves as a sponsored partner supporting CCC Health & Wellness. Together, the Chancellor’s Office and CARS provide training, technical assistance, and resource development to strengthen campus capacity and foster collaboration across colleges and community organizations. Our collective work seeks to address growing mental health concerns and basic needs insecurity across the system, in support of whole-person wellbeing and student success.
