Equitable Access to Care Toolkit
The Equitable Access to Care Toolkit was created to help California Community Colleges support student health and wellbeing by connecting students to Medi-Cal, CalFresh, and other critical services. Developed through the IEHP Equitable Healthcare Access Demonstration Project, the toolkit offers real examples, outreach materials, and step-by-step implementation tools used by colleges in the Inland Empire.
Whether you’re launching a new partnership or scaling an existing effort, this toolkit is designed to be flexible, practical, and easy to use. Colleges can download the full toolkit or access materials by section, depending on their needs.
Use this toolkit to:
- Promote Medi-Cal enrollment through campus-based outreach
- Build or strengthen partnerships with managed care plans and local agencies
- Host on-campus enrollment events and develop multilingual marketing strategies
- Support student health access with real-world implementation tools
