2022 Scan of California Community Colleges’ Websites for Mental Health Service Information

Source: CCC Health & Wellness
Resource Type: Publication, Tool or Template
Topics: Basic Needs, Campus MH Services & Screening, Diverse & Special Populations, Wellness
Population Focus: Resources for Campuses & Professionals

For many college students, mental health support is critical for achieving their academic goals. Students often rely on their college’s website as a first (and sometimes only) stop for finding information about student services. In Spring 2022, the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office funded an environmental scan of the websites of the 116 California community colleges to understand how mental health services appear from a student perspective. This is a brief Fact Sheet that was created to give an overview of that report. It was presented to HSACCC in October of 2022 and to Mental Health Wellness Association (MHWA) in November of 2022.
