Are you delivering trainings using your college’s Mental Health Support Allocation funds? The Chancellor’s Office developed a set of optional tools that you can use to gather participant feedback.
You can adopt, adapt, or customize these tools for your use:
- The On-Site Training Evaluation (electronic Survey Monkey version and hard copy) assesses the degree to which the training has increased knowledge and anticipated skills in student mental health.
- The 60-Day Training Follow-Up Assessment (electronic Survey Monkey version and hard copy) tracks the degree to which applied skills and behavior changed as a result the training.
- Increasing Response Rates: Tips for Getting Staff and Faculty to Provide Participant Feedback provides practical strategies for increasing response rates during the trainings and after.
Together, these tools are a great way to make the case that the training has meaningful impact on the ability of faculty and staff to identify and respond to students in distress.
