California Community College Outreach Partnership Program Overview
Submit applications
The California Community Colleges provide affordable and accessible programs that can drastically improve social and economic mobility for individuals and play a pivotal role in the economic recovery for our state. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a recent decline in enrollment — particularly in historically marginalized and underrepresented communities most impacted by the pandemic. The California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office is recruiting organizations to participate in a paid
Outreach Partnership Program to:
- Increase awareness and enrollment of prospective students in California’s community colleges,
with an emphasis on reaching communities that have been most impacted by the pandemic. - Engage influencers (i.e., parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school counselors, and
other trusted adults) of prospective students to encourage enrollment and address frequently
asked questions (FAQs). - Increase knowledge of tools and resources available at www.ICanGoToCollege.com, including
how to enroll at your local community college campus, availability of year-round financial aid,
career education programs, and guaranteed transfer to participating four-year colleges or
universities.
